I can’t remember the name of the dog breed, but they’re rather big dogs, usually grey/brown in color. I especially remember the Christmas special, where there was a “fruitcake dance” wherein the dog stood there looking disinterested as human hands holding fruitcakes moved around in circles.
They were always narrated by a really bored-sounding narrator in a really dulcet tone. Somebody has got to know what I’m talking about.

I searched on the internet and could not find the answer to your question anywhere. Really not enough info every where I searched hit a dead end.
