I just named my little pup Sirius Black. I wanted to go with Ron Weasley, but my husband said that it’s too much of a human name. I don’t think I should discriminate like that, foo.

well i have never meet a person with a dog name so i guess the first thing you said
It depends on the name. Take “Oliver” as an example. I could see a human with that name. However, if you used something like “Spot” for a human then that’s just weird.
Dogs with human names for sure! My dog is called Mya, I also have cats called Charlie and James. :-D
