Song: Who Lets The Dogs Out by Bahamen These are top 10 smartest dogs, made by Kennel Clubs, an official dog breed organization, based on how many repetitions it took for a certain breed to master a new command. The breeds on our list took at least 5 repetitions or less to learn a new command, and tended to obey first commands more than 95 per cent of the time. Don’t be mad if your dog is not in this list ;p

my “Labrador Retriever” died 3 days ago…He was a house pet and some how left out our yard. We found him down the street on side of the road with his throat cut. It was pretty sad. It’s true they’re loving.

@xBACONBITZx Poodles are bird dogs, origionally bred for the same thing as labradors.

well, this list was made by Kennel club, an official dog breed organization, i’m sure they did a lot of researches to make this top 10 ranking, so naturally, standard poodle can be used as a hunter dog, it’s just because the owners of poodle rarely maximize hunting ability of poodle

a poodle isnt a hunter dog. Thats more of a german shepard, blood hound ( any hound), or a retriever.

i have a border collie ( 3rd one ive had) and they are absolutely amazing and intelligent dogs.. i tought the one i have now (lou-dog) how to sit shake stay lay and roll over just in a single day and much more since i have had him.. great with people/kids/other dogs.. will give u thier full attention at anytime no matter what surroudings there are or what is going on.. if you want an easy to train/ family/ fun dog then thats def. the way to go… they arent just cattle dogs by any means! :)

Genetics is a huge factor in this. I have met truly dumb as hell Border Collie’s and extremely smart Terriers. Such an open argument here.

yeah i agree with the border collie as number one there i have three long haired use them on the cattle farm and there the best i’ve ever had very quick smart dogs. blue healers aren’t so bad.

i respect the border collie’s intelligence,so i think that the German Shepherd should go before the poodle, and after the border collie.

@struggle375 if you are going to get a dog that is an indoor dog and only walked once a day….. the best suggestion is either get those teacup dog that can fit in your pocket ( as small as a guinee pig ) or what I personally suggest : DON’T GET A DOG a responsible owner will take their dog out for a walk atleast twice a day and there is no indoor dog, some dogs like the indoor but they ALL have to have exercise
