I’m considering buying a dog.
I have a beagle who now lives with my parents because he’s too gigantic to live in an apartment.
I suffer from asthma and can be away at work for many long hours at times. I don’t want a puppy who will shed hair all over my furniture. But i’ve always had dogs in backyards, this will be a puppy in a courtyard. No i’m not better off with a goldfish or a cat lol
Can anyone suggest a breed of dog that won’t grow too huge, shed hair and has a nature of being ok to be left along for some hours at times?
I think that the people who are judgemental on what I should be doing about a dog are a little too immoderate. I wouldn’t be unfair to the dog. It’s not like i’d keep it locked up all day long.

Yes, I do think you would be better off getting a FISH.
All dogs need to go out every couple hours even as adults, All dogs shed and if you think beagles are *huge* i don’t know what to tell you.
Don’t get a dog; Wait until you have enough time for a dog. I can’t believe you’re even thinking about getting a dog right now. It would be unfair to the dog.

Sorry, but why in the heck do you want a dog? It clearly doesn’t fit your lifestyle and you’ve already given one dog away. It seems kind of selfish and irresponsible for you to get a dog. Try a hamster.
