There very friendly there outdoor dogs so keep your cats inside but if you want he or she tooo come inside lockk the cats in there very expensive though when your feeding her dont give her human food or shell get hooked and wont eat her dog food oh and when your changing his/her diet mix the foood with both they must be fed a 2big bowls of food 1 in moring and 1 at night ok there about 500 – 1000 dollars they need a lot of yard y love too chase cars in the back yard they can jump high so get

Gracie, if you get a puppy and raise it with your cats there shouldnt be any problems. The Pyre will look to the cats as its flock and will guard them.

i’ve got a 6 year old great pyrenees ^^ the sweetest dog ever and makes a great family pet. we’re like her “sheep” she waits for us until we all come home and she herds my cat back in when he goes outside. i love great pyrenees ^^

Our GREAT pyr, Magnus Biblicus died last April at about 9 yrs … SUDDENLY. The most laid back, easy-going dog I’ve ever met. We were thinking about a Newf, but after seeing these pups… I dunno, man… Pyrs are ONE OF A KIND, aren’t they?

My Great Pyrenees just passed away, she was 13 (which was amazing) and had a tick disease…vet tried everything to save her. She was the best dog I could have ever owned..VERY loyal and sweet breed and LOVES cats!!!

These GP look older in this video, my GP is only 8 weeks now and she is smaller then these but she is the runt of the litter but me and my family are always rooting for the underdog and she doesn’t have to fight for her food and now she can eat as much as she wants without worrying about her siblings taking the food from her. Shes doing really well and I can’t wait to see her when she gets older. Plus my husband still needs to meet her he comes home from Iraq soon

Pyrenees are not supposed to be aggressive unless they know something is wrong. They are great wolf killers and bears too when needed. Oldest and the noblest of all the breeds of dogs! I’ve had 2 and will have more some day.

i used to have 2 pyrenees they were so cute but then one died and we got a newfoundland dog all three of the are cute i miss my other doggy though he was cute:(

i had a great pyrenees it was the best dog no problems when it got to about 8 years old is started getting really aggresive and we had to give him away are these dogs known to be aggresive

I just bought a Pyrenees pup and he is 8 weeks old and only weighs 15 lbs. Is there anything I can do about this? Is this unusual? Any special food? I’m worried. Could he be the other type of Pyrenees? He seems happy and healthy.
