@oranw You do need to make sure you dont leave anything laying around. Always push chairs under the dining table, dont leave the vacuum cleaner laying around. You must keep things tidy and dont move the furniture. Baby gates are good to put at stairs. Treat your blind dog as you would a 2 year old todler and you will be fine. Please pay him loads of attention and dont just leave him to his own devises in the back yard. This dog more than any needs companionship. He will love you to the extreme
@kropelainen i play video games all my life , if i would go blind id like someone to kill me , SERIOUSLY i mean it , the dog however cant say KILL ME PLEASE IVE begged you for 5 years to kill me why wont you end my suffering … come here boy , lets play fetch … NOOOOOOO
@Myronsmum: @Myronsmum: My girlfriend just showed me the article and must admit it most definitely brigtened our day!! It is just unbelievable what kind of motivation and joy of life a dog can have despite the fact that he does not have any eyes. Seems to cope with life and its all everyday routines pretty well..
Cheers to Myron and you all!!
P.S. If you like I can send you the whole article scanned from the magazine? Just let me know and I’ll send you the article.

@StarlingKnight Are you telling me Myron is in the newspaper in Finland my friend? Is there any way you can send me a copy for Myron’s scrap book? I’m Myron’s Mum Raquel.
Today’s newslines here in Finland were rather sad with all the drug deaths and thunderstorm destruction, but then there was small article about Aussian dog who can’t see but fetches ball with his other senses.
I have fallen in love w/ Myron. I love to see these sweet angels w/ challenges be given loving homes & people that give them the chance to be normal. I loved the “hot, hot, cold’ cold!
well done to her and the dog, i have a blind dog and it was in a re homing centre for 5 years, he has no interest in any toys only food and cuddles. he relies on me to say stop if he is going to walk into a wall, also down if he is going out to the garden as there are steps we have put a mat by the door so he know where to find it, we also have to put all furniture around the sides of the room so he doesn’t bump in to it,
My dog just went blind in one week due to SARDS. My dog lived to fetch and I thought it would be impossible for him to fetch again. Your video gives me hope that he can fetch again – thank you for posting!
I absolutely love your dog! He definitely looks ready for that ball! It really makes me miss my little buddy. Been gone for five years now, and I have tried to find another one but there is no replacing little Sam. literally he was half Chihuahua and half black Labrador. The shoe while love was the mom and he had to be delivered by cesarean section. Only puppy of the litter. He had been given away five times, bitten by a poisonous snake, crushed by a car. I would take your dog in a heartbeat!
Congratulations on your big boy and imense heart. Others would rather had him euthanized then to learn how to love and take proper care of him! Touching!

oh that is amazing, my girlfriend might be getting a blind dog after convincing her mum to allow her, is it difficult to look after him?
