Families, especially those with children, often prefer the Golden Retriever breed. The breed, known for their loyalty, is especially playful and gentle.

Golden retrievers have three great characteristics; learning quickly, learning many things, and making great family friends.

Golden Retrievers love the water, will dive right in to fetch toys, and are great swimmers.

Eager to please their friends, the breed is often easier to train than other, more hyper breeds.

Golden Retrievers, as their name implies, have a natural instinct to chase and fetch objects. They respond well to simple commands such as “come”, “fetch”, etc.

Each family member should use the same command, such as “chase” or “fetch” to avoid confusing the animal.

Simple hand signals, along with consistent commands, will further validate the training with the animal.

Undesirable behavior should be handled by ignoring the dog for a short time. However, desirable behavior should be rewarded with hugs or a tiny treat.

When you turn your attention to him once again, your pet will want to please you more in order to keep it.

Being relaxed and having fun will produce the best results while training your golden retrievers.

You certainly won’t be bored with your Golden Retriever, as they have a great sense of humor as well. Every so often, the game of “fetch” turns into “chase me”, which he certainly enjoys.

This breed offers wonderful friendship, and children love their gentle and playful attitude.

As I mentioned before the best thing to remember about training your golden retriever is to be relaxed , its easier than with others also golden retrievers are fast learners and its important to have fun with your golden retriever.
